Well first off you can sign up to for the First jump cours which runs every Saturday starting at 10am and running for about 5 hours and costs $220 then you get to do your first jump which is a Static line jump from 3,500ft. You then do another one or 2 like that. once you are at this point you can make a decision.
I am currently taking the General progression. Each jump you learn something new and Slowly progress to 10,000ft. So after you do your first 3 jumps to begin paper toss, which prepares you to pull your own chute. then you start free fall with 5 second freef all then 10 seconds and learn turning, then 15...and so on.... Each jump in Waterville is $60 after completing the FJC (First Jump Course)
Or.......
You can take the PFF(Progressive Free Fall) course it costs a little more up front but you progress way faster and go straight to 10,000ft with 2 instructors and progress that way... but it is much faster progression only taking a fraction of the jumps to complete..
Put it in perspective I have had no failed tasks on my jumps yet and am into 15 second free fall now at about 15 jumps.
This is my understanding of the progression system right now But I am new at the sport yet. So someone may know better.
hope this helps you though.
A warning it is very addictive if you like it!!!!
Good luck Hope to see you at the Drop Zone.

Hi there,
I was wondering where I could get some information about how to get started in skydiving. I would really like to get into it because it looks like such a good time. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Lindsay
